Fuck man, I should have taken Malkin instead of Ovechkin.

I made the same mistake in my money league. they have a difference in fantasy points ( counts 1/4 point per PIM as well) of about 40. I am currently in 2nd place by about 35 pts.
as soon as I made the pick, I knew I'd regret it.

There's a shocker. Nobody wants to play with the guy who has legitimately dominated, yet everyone who has made highly suspicious moves (yourself included) is still on that list...lol Tanking against my top competition counts as one of them. We might as well just hand him the number one seed. I hope you fool around and miss the playoffs because of it.

Have fun next year with less competition and more cheating. Should fit you nicely.

My suggestions for rule changes for next year (to make everyone happy)...
-Trade deadline a month before the playoffs
-Limit the number of transactions to the equivalent of about 3-4 per week
-1 IR spot so you can hold on to an injured player you believe in

I'd also say take the best/most active/non-asshole owners from each league and just have one.

From League 1, I think that's Puck, Vadered, Rit, Comeds, and myself. I'd say maybe Isle and Beantown, but some questionable shit down the stretch. I've never been a part of any fantasy league with this many weird deals happening at the end with teams that weren't going to make the playoffs. Pretty disappointing end to a mostly fun season.

It's easy for you to just label me an asshole and move on, isn't it? Completely ignore the fact that I'm one of the best, most active owners in both leagues. I've been a part of the Flyers fantasy league for at least five seasons and you're welcome to go ask them if this is how I am every season. The answer is no. Why? There's no bullshit going on in those leagues. This league has been the opposite.

If only you took the time to actually put some thought into that. I called you out on an issue earlier in the season, it must've somehow gotten personal for you and you've hated me ever since. You've fixed the problem however and I have no issues with you moving forward. Admit it or not, you're still holding a grudge, while I'm not. Hopefully you can get over that one day...lol

This is so typical. I battle my way to 4th place in League 2 & now I get to go up against Ritari who has the best team in the league. There go my playoff chances.:L:

give me a little bit and perhaps I'll knock you back down to 5th and I'll take this so called Ritari guy on for ya! Don't be scared! :kk:

If there's anyone at all rooting for you, it's me. Team Funny Bunnies missing the playoffs would be the ultimate poetic justice after he made two trades that essentially landed him Zetterberg (15 goals, 39 assists) and Campbell (40 assists) for Salo (13 assists) and Lecavalier (injured since 2/18), then proceeded to tank against Tyler and hand him the top seed. If this is a guy that they want in future leagues, I don't want to be a part of them anyway.

You've been nothing but a loud mouthed, pain in the ass jerk all year. While you didn't like what eloco was doing, it was ALL legal, and according to you, every trade made in both leagues were grossly lopsided except yours of course seeing how you gave up the 2 greatest players eva and got minor leaguer's in return. You're year long whining is worse than a 5 year old's cry for a cookie. Believe me, no one will miss you and your d-bag attitude. Good luck 5.0 and Isles

lol It's funny. Nobody actually argues me on legitimate points. They do what you just did, which is take the high road, grossly exaggerate and then hurl an insult as if we're back in grade school. If I hadn't made a single trade in either league (I haven't in League 2), you'd still be pissed at me because I'm exposing your tactics. Either way, you're smart enough to know that while you're not technically cheating, you've taken advantage of a flawed system to perform at a higher level. Some would say that's essentially cheating. Pardon me for making note of it again and again.

Nobody will miss me. Why? I'm strong competition and I'm not a fan of bullshit. Apparently this was a league where anyone can get away with whatever they like and nobody cares. You guys have fun with that next season. Again, I don't need to make shady trades or use the free agent pool as my bench to get there either. I do my homework, draft smart and I'm right on top of the trends in order to pick up better players asap via free agency. That's why I have my division won easily in both leagues with or without any trades.

You could attempt that as well...or you could just hang in there until the deadline and upgrade multiple positions at once via Jeff or whatever fellow non-playoff Bruin fan is available.

bitching and moaning aside, there's a pretty good match going on in the 4-5 battle in league 1.

goals, assists, PPG, PPA all tied after a week.

In league 2 my team is tanking and now well out of the 4 spot. I fell to #6 in one week going 1-12 while Hawaii and Killers went 12-1 and 12-0-1. So It will be a nice battle between them two for #4.

Time is money and there's been plenty of time spent on this league by a number of people, myself included. Thanks for your thoughtful input however. The fact that BTM has openly discussed cheating via PM's and then acted on it via trades in this money-free league might interest you and help explain why there is so much "bitching and moaning."

That said, I'm looking forward to round 2 in League 1 and the start of the playoffs in League 2. It should be a good one. I definitely prefer the playoff format of League 1 where more teams get in and there's a Bye week.

More teams get in yes, bye week not so much. I dunno, a bye week in fantasy sports just doesn't really do it for me. Think about it - in professional sports, what is a bye week? I would argue the best thing you get out of it is the opportunity to avoid injury by playing in another game, but let's look at the thoughts of some professionals, shall we?

A bye week allows your team to rest up, recover from injury, and apparently completely forget how to play football. - Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers quarterback

A bye week allows your team to develop new offensive techniques and hone them in order to score as many as forty points against your opponent the following week! - Bo Ryan, Wisconsin basketball coach

A bye week allows your team to recuperate and have light scrimmages to prepare for the series against the Boston Bruins. - Whoever finishes sixth in the Eastern Conference this year.

All wonderful things, really, but not so much in fantasy. A bye week in fantasy only provides a buffer against a bad performance by your team - and since your team is likely the most consistent one around, as you have earned the week off, you probably would win anyway. I'm not saying I'm opposed to them; I'm simply saying I wouldn't go out of my way to include them.

PS: "Bye, week" is what you say if you are idiotic enough to put your head down at the blue line in front of Kronwall. - Jakub Voracek

Since when is discussing trades via pm's cheating? There are ZERO rules against it and I see no reason why anyone has to keep YOU informed of any trades that might come up. Unless you can provide any real proof of cheating, shut the fuck up and put your tampon on!!
