Lionel Messi set a new record with 72 goals across all competitions this year. To put that in perspective, Stoke City Football Club has 57 goals in 1 fewer game

Howard Webb has been appointed referee for Sunderland v Manchester United on 13/05/12.

2 questions:

1) whats the goal difference lead for City again?
2) whats the EPL record for most PK's awarded to one team in a game

:L

Holy crap.....2 quick goals by Money City to win 3 - 2.
Money City win. What an exciting finish.
I really wanted Manure since they are the lesser of the 2 that I dislike.

Fuck I really wanted Manure to win.
I can see Nasri or Clichy saying something along the lines that Arsenal would never reach this because they need to spend in order to attract good players to win the league. I'm only guessing here but there will be something said since both these former players left to Money City for more money.

Clichy and Nasri can go take a flying leap.

Yes I am a bit bitter.

i think what is amazing about that Man City win today is how hard the QPR players were celebrating with Man City players after the win in the crowd. was not hard to see them in their coloured unis next to man city blue. you would think that they would be upset they just blew one of the biggest potential upsets in Premier History. But no the seas parted and Man City was allowed to waltz in and score the 3-2. they deserve it but not without a raised eyebrow from me. I can't believe how happy the QPR players were that were still on the pitch. wow

QPR are celebrating because they aren't being relegated to the championship division.
They finished just outside the relegation zone...4th from bottom. It would be different if they weren't close to the relegation zone...you can bet on that.

At least the Gunners kept 3rd.
Now it would be great if Chelski wins the Champions league so then they would bump Tottenscum out of that last CL spot because they would be returning champions that have to qualify. I believe the rules changed after Liverpool won but didn't hold a CL spot in the league final standings so they had an extra english team in the CL.
