doesnt sound very good at all ... they were still trying to resuscitate him at the hospital

prayers to him and his family

unbelievable!

Bolton say Muamba "now able to breathe independently without the aid of a ventilator" & is recognising family, responding to questions

Just the fact that Muamba can breathe on his own and speak is already a
miracle. Expected worst when I read his heart stopped for 2 hours.

"Two hours after [regaining consciousness] I whispered in his ear, 'What's your name?' and he said, 'Fabrice Muamba'. I said, 'I hear you're a really good footballer' and he said, 'I try'. I had a tear in my eye."

Awesome stuff for sure!

lol is an overused throwaway term

but this honestly made me laugh out loud

Wayne Rooney has visited Fabrice Muamba in hospital. "It's great, he can almost string a sentence together" said Fabrice.

If i read that right, top 2 qualify for the Olympics?
so to get in, we just need more points off of Cuba than El Savador gets off of the US?

:L

A Seattle Sounders FC ball boy was called a gay slur by an opposing Houston Dynamo player during Friday's match at CenturyLink Field.
Microphones from the NBC Sports Network's broadcast picked up the gay slur during a throw-in seven minutes into the match. The Dynamo player, midfielder Colin Clark, called the Sounders ball boy a "fag" because the boy didn't give him the ball in a timely manner

All Canada needs is a tie against Cuba tonight to advance to the semi-finals (and likely avoiding Mexico in the process). They would then need to win the semi-final game to punch their ticket to London.

Not a great showing by Canada thus far, but they lead 1-0 at the half over Cuba...
