So there's a video of some high school kid dancing like Michael Jackson. It's all over facebook.

I so desperately want to post "If Michael was alive, he'd "LOVE" this kid."

Farmers who drive their heavy-ass equipment capable of going just 2 MPH during rush-hour traffic.

I'm looking out my window to the road which is not usually very busy even at 5 PM, however - this tractor just went by at a slow crawl about 5 minutes ago and there are still cars trailing in a line behind that asshole. Those pour souls have another 4 miles to go before the nearest expressway ramp.

Or shipping companies that decide it's a good idea to send the oversize cargo down the highway during rush hour.

Was driving to work earlier this week and there was an oversize truck carrying what looked like a pre-fabricated concrete panel - like something you'd see being used on a highway bridge (tons of major construction projects around here ATM). Damned thing is taking up 1 1/2 lanes because it's so wide. And it's 8:00 in the morning, when traffic is already backed up as it is. Cut that down by a lane and it's a disaster.

I love when a customer tells me how to do MY JOB! I've worked here for 2 years, I know the policy and how things are done, NOT YOU. Don't fucking tell me what's wrong and right, when you the customer, are wrong.

Ohio is a state where you do not have to wear a motorcycle helmet. So it stands out when you see someone wearing one.

Big full face helmet. And a tank top, shorts and sandals. On a full bore crotch rocket.

I had another "Watch Out For Motorcycles" moment today at lunchtime. Derp was weaving in and out of heavy traffic, coming within 3 feet of most cars.

I respect people who drive motorcycles safely, but I'm super cynical when crap like BOTH those things happens. Lane cutting is illegal in a majority of states. I get stressed when I drive near bikes, so I hate that.

The craziest thing I ever saw in person was driving on the Beltway years ago at about 65-70 mph. There is a car directly to my right. A guy on a bike pops onto his back wheel and goes INBETWEEN my car and the other car at what must have been 85-90 mph and holds it until he is like 100s of yards in front of us while changing lanes to go around another car.

I could not... fucking... believe it.

Motorcyclists don't bother me much though because they are really only endangering themselves by and large. 18-wheelers driving dangerously... that's a different story.

You as a lawyer should know though, that while they are for the most part endangering themselves, they are opening up others for potential litigation. Being involved in an accident is no picnic, even for the innocent/uninjured.

My brother has had motorcycles for the last 20 years. Hes always told me that if I got my license I could borrow his whenever I wanted. I just never liked them, not enough protection for me. Coming back from lunch one day I saw them pull a sheet over a guy in an intersection after a motorcycle accident. His bike looked relatively untouched too. One of my brother's best friends is in a wheelchair due to a motorcycle accident.
If I was the only thing on the road and it was nice weather I might like to ride one but on a normal day I am on the road 2 1/2 hours (sobbing) and see so many stupid things drivers do each day - I just wont risk it.

I did enough damage to my body on a bike with no motor. I would have certainly not survived a motorcycle.

I just don't understand why people don't get the danger they are really facing. Like the ones who do the nose wheelies or go 100+ on public highways. So much can go wrong and when it does you have practically zero chance.

So after popping and damaging beyond repair two replacement tubes for my front bike wheel this week, I finally successfully replaced it this morning.

The back one is flat now... :burt:
