Stance: Goofy
Boy, my ribs situation just keeps getting better. It seems the coach of the high school who trashed the room is a lawyer by day (fucking lawyers) and his "official" answer through the company that runs the rinks is, basically; "The coaches are in the locker room until every player is gone and we checked the room and it was perfect. The staff at the rink also cleaned the room after we left as they always do. Another group must have done the damage between when we left and when the other team arrived."
His team leaves the ice at 5:50, we arrived to find the trashed room at 6:15 (I always get there a bit early to do dryland agility stuff with my boy). So, in 25 minutes, the entire team got undressed and left, the room was cleaned, checked, cleaned and checked again, then a second group of kids from the grassy knoll trashed it and left the building without anyone seeing them. And this pattern has happened every week for the past two months.
"That's a fantastic story"
I got to the rink at 6:00 last night, coach was already gone. Nine players were still getting out of their gear and the last one walked out of the room about 6:12. I asked him if coach was still back in the room. He gave me a whatchutalkinboutwillis look and said "No". I asked if coach typically stays back until everyone leaves. He actually laughed. "Never".
Fucking lawyers
