I dislocated my shoulderblade, so, yeah.

Hahah, see, this one is even funnier because it's very nearly a floating bone. Only bony connection is at the clavicle. When I was in undergrad, all us AT students were in a big anatomy class together, and a guy said in class that he "shattered" his ACL once. It's not exactly the descriptive term I'd choose...seeing as you can't really shatter soft tissue.

I mean. I understand that not everyone is familiar with the Psalms and all, but we're talking about a movie based on a ship sinking in the early 1900's and a song from '95. How does this not click?

im a therapist, some of the stuff i hear is golden

Although it is often a part of my job to deal with the mental/emotional side of injuries, I couldn't do that job...so bless you, haha. Unless you mean PT, in which case we likely hear a lot of the same stuff. Always good for a laugh when my athlete's open their mouths, hah.

Dems: "NUH-UHHHHH. *throws dirt*"

Rep: "YEAH-HUHHHHHH!"

Congress in a simple description.

Both Rep and Dems: "OH NO YOU DON'T!"

Government in a simple description.

And now a slight elaboration followed by a small tweak!

Nosy Pelican. It's just perfect. If i had any sense of artistic and/or photoshop ability, that'd be my focus right now.

Ahh yes, this is bloody brilliant. "Checks and balances! No one should have supreme power!" Bring on that stalemate!

I'm currently reading through the Ken Follet century trilogy (HIGHLY recommend, btw. I love fictionalized history stuff, and he does it in a great way mixing truths with fictional characters who certainly could've existed) and there's a quote in the first one (Fall of the Giants) RE: democracy/uninformed people voting "It really is a silly way to run a country, but it's better than anything else." That's a rough recollection of the quote, can't find the direct one. It made me laugh though.
