I had relatives from the UK visit me in the summer of 1982 and they left me a cassette tape with recorded music off the radio. One of the songs was the tune below and it still sounds great some 40+ years later.

I didn't know Jerry Reed was such a phenomenal guitar player...This is fantastic.

On this day in 1985 Echo and the Bunnymen released their compilation "Songs to learn and sing". Which marked the first appearance of this classic.

Mirrorball is a great album but this is the Vedder/Young collab that is burned in my memory bank ... from the 9/11 tribute concert ... and then played at a loved ones funeral
