As of this morning Lunardi had them as a 10 so it seems reasonable for them to move up a spot or two. I guess it really doesn't matter, 8 or 9 seed gets you into the same game!

I know St. Mary's resume isn't super impressive, but I hope they get in. They played Gonzaga very tough in all 3 games this season and there's no doubt in my mind that they're one of the top 68 teams in the country. Lunardi had St. Mary's as a 10 as well this morning so they're gonna slide closer to the bubble. It might depend on how many upsets there are in some of the conference tournaments still to be played. It sure is nice not having to worry about Gonzaga though! We'll actually be able to enjoy selection Sunday, instead of sweating it out.

Yeah I agree, although Washington has stumbled quite a bit ever since Gaddy went down. They really don't have another point guard on the team. At least not one that's any good. But it looks like they did enough work in the first half of the season to get in.

I'd love to see Wazzu get in as well. They'll need to win at least 2 games in the tournament to get some attention though (which means making it to the final) and that's something they haven't been able to accomplish since the Pac-10 started doing a basketball tournament again. They get to start off against the Huskies though and they went 2-0 against them this year so they know they can beat them. Looks like Klay Thompson will be back too. It'll be interesting to see how they do.

I don't know much about the smaller schools. Heck I haven't really been following CBB this season. The brackets are always fun though. Picking the upsets is what makes the tournament great.

Big Pac-10 bubble game tonight between Washington State and Washington.

Looks like Colorado locked up a bid today.

Big East has 8 teams considered locks: Pittsburgh, Notre Dame, Syracuse, St. John's, Georgetown, Villanova, Louisville and UConn, with West Virginia, Marquette, and Cincinnati still considered on the bubble.

I say WVU and Marquette get in and make it 10 bids.

Marquette and Cincinnati are all going to get in now that they've made the Quarters of the Big East Tournament. Villanova is a team that really should be on the bubble. Has anyone really looked at their schedule? It's horrible. They have like 2 or 3 wins over Top 25 teams (with a lot of losses) and they lost to South Florida of all teams in the first round of the Big East tournament. They should NOT be in the tournament.

In other news Idaho, who handed Utah State their only conference loss of the season, loses in the quarters of the WAC tournament to San Jose State. That's just like something the Vandals would do.
