Even with the two losses to BYU, I've been telling myself that I just might write San Diego State on the "National Champion" line. I honestly think they're that good. That's by no means an officail pick yet, though.

Big East has 8 teams considered locks: Pittsburgh, Notre Dame, Syracuse, St. John's, Georgetown, Villanova, Louisville and UConn, with West Virginia, Marquette, and Cincinnati still considered on the bubble.

I say WVU and Marquette get in and make it 10 bids.

Agreed. And who'd of thought that, before the season, after Pitt (not a sleeper), Notre Dame and St. John's would be the trendy picks to be a Final Four sleeper?
