OT - I'm bored

i originally wanted to take up bass (because...well, it's easier) but, i figured that if i take the time to get the guitar down the bass will just be a cake walk.

The bass can be a tricky instrument. The frets are bigger, and the strings thicker, so the dexterity used is a bit different.

haha. seriously try this. one of your fingers will stay on the same string on the same fret. this way only 2 fingers move the entire time and only once do they move at the same time. 3 chords. very slow. very repetitive.

yea the bass is weird. it seems easier, yet to really get good you have to be able to move your fingers fast. i really like the solo from my generation.

Trust me, just becuase you know the guitar, does NOT mean the bass will be easy. I've had a pretty hard time in my limited time with the bass, but its alot unlike the guitar as mentioned above me

I actually find watching the summer league and USA basketball more entertaining by x10 than the actual NBA itself...summer league is full of guys who arent superstars trying to prove themselves to get a job, and it can be entertaining to watch
