Shake Shack, an outdoor diner type deal, is right around the corner from where I work, amazing shakes. Generally the line is about 45 mins long in the summer. No line today, I'm seriously debating it.

Designated him for assignment? An assignment like what? Sharpening pencils? There is a certain need in this day and age for attending to so-called "trivial" tasks like sharpening a good ol' number two pencil, but he's a baseball player. He is, as might be said by the immortal Bones McCoy, "A doctor, not a schoolboy, Jim!". Furthermore, there are now more mechanical pencils in this modern age than the old-fashioned ones. Putting a mechanical pencil inside a pencil sharpener is redundant and potentially dangerous to the sharpee. I'm not talking about a permanent marker when I say that. Nor a funny-looking dog. A sharpee is one who sharpens pencils. I am digressing slightly. Basically what I am trying to get at is Vernon should be assigned to some other assignment than sharpening pencils.
