What's new?

It's raining for the first time since December so I am hiding inside all day and napping.

I'm covered under a foot of snow here. Have been since Christmas. Wind chills have hit -30 at least 4 times this winter.

Clarkson got himself banned after blowing up or something. I think Tox left. Ghost probably drops by on occasion. New head guy seems chill. vcash is connected to vbookie for sporting events. Rep was replaced by thumbs up + down 'cause people on the Water Cooler were negging each other in the ass to the point of ridiculousness.

Was away for a while because my dad had a health scare. Bell's Palsy and high blood pressure and heart problems. He stays on the meds they give him he should be fine.

I'm exhausted. I've been super busy ever since getting back from the conference last Sunday, which basically meant I worked a 12-day week, but all of the days were also longer than usual.

Then I had a rugby match this morning. I only played the last 20 minutes of B-side, but I'm definitely not in game shape.

The Lego Movie was a most excellent break.

Then two hours of street hockey.

But! The first episode of season 8 of Psych is finally up on Hulu, so I'm happy!

Feels like it's going to stick this time. I've had practically no urges. Even drinking around people smoking.

how does it go. anything done for 3 weeks straight becomes habit. tougher with smoking I would imagine but good on you Vee. well done.

Indeed. I'm fairly certain everyone loves Psych, whether they're willing to admit it or not.

I believe Psych came out around the same time as The 4400, as both shows aired back-to-back on USA in the summers. The 4400 only lasted 4 short summer seasons, and Psych continued. It's a shame that the really good shows always end prematurely.

I was in Pacific Grove last weekend, and the cabbie mentioned it. It rained twice while I was there, and the folks working at the conference grounds seemed to be pretty pleased.
