Even if goins is positioned for a cut at second (which he shouldnt have been because the ball was hit deep and you have to prevent a run from scoring at that stage) would bautistas spin no look rainbow toss have hit him or sailed over him?

Tulos throw bounced once btw. And i dont blame him because the ball jose through to him came down from the stratospehere wet

Tulo's throw hit the ground at the pitcher's mound. It definitely bounced more than once. And Goins would have been able to cut that ball off a solid 30 feet shy of Tulo based on where it bounced.

I'm far more upset with the number of guys the Jays left stranded all series than I am with one throw that caused one run.

Congrats to the Royals, they were always the better team.

Hopefully the Jays can re-sign Price and get a few more guys to make another run next season.

As I was walking through the Metrotown mall today, I saw a guy rocking an old school Darryl Strawberry Mets jersey. It got me thinking of the following:

Well that's not the start you want if you're the Mets. I've had a bad feeling about this game.

No kidding DS, that was a nice throw from Granderson, it was a closer play at the plate than I thought it was going to be.

If I was HBP to win a WS game, or walked, or anything where I did t have to sprint down the line...I'd bat flip to the moon.

Oh yes. I would, too.

Related, I need a walk-off balk bat flip. I need it to happen.

Yes, a walk-off balk. And a bat flip. The hitter has nothing to do with it. I don't care. Your team just won, and you have flip-able lumber, you best be flipping it.

why not a suicide squeeze bat flip and you aim it at the fielder?

/would they call that a homicide squeeze?
