The Dodgers already have $131M committed to their roster next year. The most Friedman has ever had to work with was $77M. And the Dodgers have a few young pieces making one of their millions of OF expendable, really. The amount of damage he could do is frightening. He's has money, MLB players, and prospects to work with.

I mean, if the Giants win the next two, they'll have 3 days off, but sometimes riding that momentum is huge. But hey, they had 5 days off between the ALDS and ALCS (so did the O's, of course).

What a weekend around my town:

A murder, two blocks up the street (I was actually standing in the carport where the body was found, literally just a few hours before it happened).

A kayaker missing; his kayak and truck found but nothing else (I actually knew the guy well and jammed with him quite a bit)

A barge sinking with two still missing; one rescued.

A car accident death.
