Who keeps requesting these damn things? I think it's shtick. If so, the phrase "I know some of you wanted to see..." should belong to Comeds, just like "reported" belongs to WW and "pussies" belongs to Boss.

Can't believe we stranded him. Gosh our offense has been atrocious. Amazing considering what the view on the season was before it began. Thought it'd be all offense, no pitching. Thank God we can pitch, because otherwise we'd be pretty horrendous. I really miss Synder/Doumit.

I suppose Alvarez's bat is better than Wood/Cedeno, but...not by much unless he gets on a tear. He still needs to learn to be a more patient batter. I think we need to bring Presley up from Indy for RF, because Jones is not cutting it and Paul is inconsistent. Cedeno HAS been good on defense though, so hard to take him out in that regard. But, missing our C's is REALLY hurting. I like McKenry so far though, getting contact in his ABs (unlike Brown) and a good defensive guy.

Nats just made a huge comeback on the Cards. 6 runs in the bottom of the 7th to go ahead 8-6. This is an exciting 0.6% of the season!

Alvarez has been too patient, in my opinion. He's getting himself into holes, down 0-1, down 0-2 early. It takes him out of his approach. Let him swing at some of those first pitch fastballs and drive them somewhere, and then pitchers can't get throw it right there and get ahead of him.

Wood is just as good as Cedeno defensively, and I see more upside to his bat, but I think we should just play the hot hand between them.

I agree on Presley. Jones/Diaz/Paul, just pick one and get rid of him. None of them are very good. Presley would probably do better. I heard a rumor that the Pirates are bringing in a bat on Friday. I anticipate that will be Presley.
