First concert:
Not sure - Dave Matthews, Pearl Jam, or De La Soul - not sure which was first, all within a few months of each other

First live Concert Someone handed me something before the concert. Which made it the strangest concert I ever attended.
Alice Cooper welcome to my nightmare.

I took acid for an Alice Cooper concert a long time ago.
big mistake. it made me super paranoid, and I refused to leave until I found someone to fight.
sorry, random dude who I ended up fighting.

I think that particular concert had the gallows trick, though i've seen the guillotine as well.

My first album I remember buying with my own money was The Kinks , Give the People What They Want. That album had "Destroyer" on it, one of my all time fave songs. Was prolly around 1981.

First concert was Blue Oyster Cult and Foghat. Pittsburgh civic arena, prolly around 1980 or '81.

It's at times like these the great heaven knows
That we wish we had not so many clothes
So let's loosen up with a playful tease
Like all lovers did through the centuries

We're just following ancient history
If I strip for you will you strip for me?
We're just following ancient history
If I strip for you will you strip for me?
Uh-huh-huh

That's why!

Best concert for show, KISS. I saw them three times the music may not be the best but the show is right up there with the best.

Concerts, shows. are all different...I've seen The Who, Pink Floyd and Genesis at giant stadium venues....I've seen Alice Cooper, the Kinks and Joe Walsh at theaters that barely held 5,000 people....I love the smaller venues....I've seen great, visually stunning shows, like Rush.... and I saw Joe Walsh who was too drunk to remember the words to his own songs...all were good times.

Funny thing I liked Adam and the Ants but not Adam Ant.
for those of you who don't know/care, Adam kicked the Ants out of the band and changed his name to Adam Ant. The Ants became Bow Wow Wow with a new singer.

Well that gave me something to look up. From what I found she was also in Hustler and Penthouse so if one looks her up one could find pretty explicit photos of her.
