Funny. Last year nobody was even thinking about it. Hard to coach the likes of this year.

Real bad year, hope next year is better

I don't see him leaving mainly b/c first and foremost, Jones is a businessman. Secondarily he's a football man. So he isn't going to eat that much money, and knowing/thinking, "who really wants this job anyway?"

And for an smart man (very smart actually), you'd think Garrett would figure out a way to be some cover on his noggin when it's raining/sleeting. As far as I could tell, he was the only person in the stadium who didn't.

At the least. They should find a new qb coach. Whe is the last time he developed a qb.

Wade Wilson has been here about 9 years. During that time did we draft one with the intent of developing him?
Honestly, not one comes to my mind.

Jones has always wanted to go the FA route it seems to me.

Stephen McGee in 2009 was only the second QB drafted by Dallas since 1991, and he remains the second to this day.

Well, there you go. I had forgotten about him. But he was a 4th round pick.

Drafting and developing is not part of the overall team philosophy it seems.

It's the most important position and for some reason Dallas plays the lottery at the position...not a recipe for success clearly.

They got crazy lucky with Romo, but they have been so dysfunctional it hasn't amounted to much...pretty damn frustrating for sure.

Quincy Carter?

He was drafted to be developed, but that was in 2001 (2nd round) and Wade Wilson was on the staff, although I doubt he had a lot to do with Quincy's "lack of development." It was Wilson's first year of coaching, and we know Quincy was brain-dead before he took his first snap, regardless of who was coaching.

Jerry in his finest hour.

Would have only picked third if both San Diego and San Francisco won. Since San Fran won Dallas is 4th, because of how the tie breaker works.

The NFL rewards bad franchises in the draft too easily. Every team has a really down year here or there and I get giving them a little boost in the draft, but franchises like Cleveland and Tennessee who are picking high nearly every year and continue to suck should be penalized for not getting better. The relegation process is the best thing about Soccer leagues. American sports should consider it.

While losing 12 games sucks, the 4th pick is nice. I think the 4th pick is better than losing 30-0 in the first round at home....

the draft will be very interesting this year, not sure JJ and company don't trade back

They have two picks in the top 34...I do not hope they do that unless they end up with multiple picks.

It would obviously depend on another team, but I could see them trading back, if it meant grabbing another pick in the 2nd round

I would fire Marvin Lewis and cut Jones and Burfict if I was the GM of the Bengals. Lewis for not being able to keep them under control and those two morons for giving the Steelers the win. What an embarrassment for Cincinnati.
