True lol
I was worried about season two because the trailer was so hokey. It took a while but I finally finished the first season of The Umbrella Academy. I thought it was OK, good story, occasionally great and creative action pieces, but a ton of down time where people pretty much did nothing.
The first episode of season two - was fantastic. Great all the way through - but the first 15 minutes - wow.
Dylan Playfair (the one in the helmet on the cover) is also the son of brief NHLer - both as a player and head coach - Jim Playfair and nephew of Larry Playfair, possibly the least accurately named player in league history.Credits: Producer-Howard Baldwin lol

I think season two ended up being better than the first season. It felt a little more coherent and purposeful without having to go through as much of the origin story.I was worried about season two because the trailer was so hokey.

It's just me watching (wife did not like) so I move at a snails pace (working from home days at lunch) but I am working my way though it. Still liking it. Kate Walsh never did a whole lot for me but I have to say middle age suits her very well.I think season two ended up being better than the first season.
