I haven't watched an animated movie in years (no kids) but Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was pretty great

Cloak and Dagger was brilliant. Maybe the best series they've released. It was compelling and immersive beginning to end.

Daredevil, of course, is also excellent, and Jessica Jones, and I've heard good things about Punisher, but I'm only a couple episodes in. If Luke Cage season 1 hadn't lost its way at a certain major midpoint plot point, it would have also been up there. I haven't seen Iron Fist 2 or Luke Cage 2 yet to judge them. And I haven't seen Runaways. I like Agents of Shield and loved Agent Carter, but Daredevil 1 and Cloak and Dagger are the two competing for my favorite Marvel series so far.

Also, on the CW/DC side, if you haven't seen Black Lightning yet, in my opinion, it's their best work to date.

Season 2 is off to a great start.

I haven't yet but I like the author of a couple. Joe Lansdale is usually pretty solid and he wrote ''Fish Night" and ''The Dump". I'll watch them.

I watched Lady Bird. The movie is just decent but Saoirse Ronan and Laurie Metcalf are awesome.

I went to see Avengers Endgame yesterday. It was good but odd. I'm not sure what Hawkeye's wife trying to save her kids from a Mexican ghost had to do with Infinity War. And none of the other characters were in it. Bad movie. 4 out of 5 stars.

Continuing with my indie film about young girls phase - Eighth Grade was pretty good. The young actress was excellent. And there is a fireside scene that is heartbreaking.
