Jury Duty is a fake court case where everyone involved is an actor. Except one juror who thinks its all real. James Marsden plays himself, well an asshole version of himself stuck on the jury.
It mainly works because despite how it sounds its not mean spirited and the lone real person is not really the butt of the joke.

We just watched this over the past two days.
Quite liked it.

the actors were just terrific in their respective roles.

I laughed so hard at the videos they showed at the beginning of the trial. I like in the wrap up they showed the jury trying not to laugh too.

I think shes great and I'm sure some other Oscar winner's dumb movies did the same thing, but it's still funny. Plus is that going to be a deciding point for this movie?

I do know that I hesitated before I hit the delete button.

some things were pretty funny, I always like Jane Adams and Hank Azaria.
and her main dancer (Jennie Kim) is hot as fuck, too.

so yeah, I'd give it a go, but temper your expectations in terms of Emmy nominations

Filming in Vancouver, British Columbia on October 6, 1994, Jackie Chan broke his right ankle while attempting the scene where he jumps onto the hovercraft. Despite the injury, he was present at the premiere of The Legend of Drunken Master (1994) at the Vancouver International Film Festival that night. Later in the production of this movie, director Stanley Tong sprained his ankle, completing the movie on crutches. Françoise Yip also broke her leg while filming the scene where she rides a motorbike across the tops of parked cars. She insisted on returning to the set after her leg was plastered at the hospital. Two stuntwomen also broke their legs during the filming of the motorcycle chase.


Stanley Tong directed a lot of Jackie Chan's movies, and would do most of the stunts himself before allowing Chan to do them.
