Ive been watching SS over a few days. some good laughs but mostly shit. I just cant believe Harley Quinn has gotten three movies, The solo on her was the ok, this second (and not great, which is so sad for a James Gunn movie) and that absolute shit first one was brutal. Peacemaker is the best from this. not even King Shark is good.. I was expecting so much more

I thought the 2nd Suicide Squad movie was fine. Having never seen the first not Harley Quinn (and generally not liking the recent DC movies) my expectations were low so that may have helped. Even so I thought Peacemaker was a terrible idea. So amazed that it's not only watchable, I think it's very good,.

DC should let Gunn do whatever he wants

Makes me very happy. Biggest problem they had was paying Chris Pines paycheque .. Hemsworth was rumoured to come back as well through time travel

Finished Peacemaker last night. Very well done. Still amazed they took that character and created a very good series out of it. Great mix of comedy, drama, action, and hair metal.

I'm in the right age group but didn't know most of the music. After the first couple episodes I wondered if the music was made up lol.

Sadly one I recognized was by Enuff Z'nuff.

I'm about halfway through, it has the gritty feel of the first season of True Detective
(similarly, the lady who gets naked a bunch is an added bonus)



i recommend it.

Meh, I won't spoil with who dies, but obviously there are plenty of deaths overall.

The movie is just so generic. They early just looked at the Halloween reboot/sequel, saw that it was pretty good and said "do that" without any creativity.

And the attempts at social commentary had all the subtly of a fucking root canal.

It will, that's a great show. Jean Smart is so great, and has such a great career now. It all comes together. Regina King is fantastic in that. The moment he knew loved her

Tonight we watched episode 3 of the new season of Maisel. Then the latest episodes of American Auto and Abbot Elementary and the finale of Murdervillle. Excellent night of TV.

My wife is out of town. I took my daughter to some seedy bar for dinner, otherwise she was happy to be video gaming with her friends all day and I was glued to the couch.

Will prob start Succession tomorrow
