I watched the first two Mr. Inbetweens last night. I guess Graham bit off a bit more than he could chew.

The comic was awesome, I thought this was going to be animated. Looks really solid.

Finished this up last night, absolutely loved it. Did not read the comics so that may alter the viewing experience but the casting was solid, all of the characters made sense and were likeable. Great watch.

I am glad to hear that. I started it last week and really enjoyed what I have seen so far.

The author of the comic also wrote three books called the Essex County Trilogy. It's a very Canadian trilogy about hockey, family, life, love and loss. Beautiful work.

It was good, I really liked it. Any changes made from the comics fit the story, so I have no complaints.

Except for some goofy cgi and makeup. But that's too be expected. I couldn't look at Bobby without laughing.

It's no Mr. Inbetween but another one of FX shows, Dave, is really solid. When someone recommended it I rolled my eyes because the ads look stupid but I trusted their opinion and gave it a shot. Very good, very stupid, and at times very touching.

Dexter - good seasons bad seasons. Bad last season. Overall OK
West World - I liked the first two seasons a lot. The 3rd was kind of a mess.
GOT - good in the middle seasons. Good nudity.

True Detective - season 1 is pretty great imo. Awesome Alexandra Daddario scene lol

Watched The Hunt on HBO over the weekend.

I know it garnered some political controversy, which is probably what lead to its mixed reviews, and came out at the worst possible time for the pandemic, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very dark humo(u)r, lots of misdirection, and some surprisingly strong performances.

I feel like a lot of people completely missed the point of the satire in it and the fact that it skewers right and left wing.

glad you like it, we are almost caught up on season 2 and their are some awful/shocking moments that really caught me off guard

Gunpowder Milkshake was dumb, creative, and fun. I could have done with a group shower scene but I enjoyed it anyway.

It's also possible that those people understood the satire and just didn't think it was all that clever?

I freely admit that I say this as someone who has not seen the movie in question, it's more a general comment.
