You never know. Hope TCU does well though. Same with Baylor. West Virginia held their own without their starting QB but the other teams in the Big 12 have stunk it up. But UT should not have been in a bowl game unless it was something like the Tidy Bowl Bowl and OU was fading fast at the end of the year so not surprised.

I'm pulling for the Frogs and respect what Patterson has done for that program; perhaps the conference too. They're 3 pt underdogs and I think that's a solid pick if you're a betting man.

Today's game, and the Baylor contest may illustrate how easily this could/should have been an 8 team playoff without a drop-off of competitiveness IMO.

TCU, although quite comfortably ahead, could easily be up 31 right now.

Do you know the contract status of the 4 team format? I thought it was 4 teams through 2016 and then they can make adjustments, but I'm not 100% on that
