UT fans should have some solace in the fact that Arkansas should have been AT LEAST a 9-3 team this season.

They SHOULD have beat A&M. (4th qtr / missed field goal / sighhhhhhh)
They SHOULD have beat Missouri. (they were winning until the 4th qtr)
They SHOULD have beat Alabama. (no comment...again w/ the 4th qtr)

They were tied at halftime with Auburn...then the wheels came off.
Georgia - well... that one sucked.
Miss. St - I cant remember what happened there..oh wait...that's right...another 4th qtr loss.

Eventhough Ark's record was 6-6, they were far from a 6-6 team.

For me there is no solace. Texas did not deserve to be in that game regardless of the opponent. And you're are right. Ark.much better than record indicates.

I told my brother that I wouldn't want to play the Razorbacks late in the season, and unfortunately for LSU they did. Now so did Texas.

The TX/Ark game went about the way I had thought it would actually. Not the least bit surprised.

So does Oklahoma. Knight ain't doin it. I got a feeling Baker Mayfield will be leading the charge for Oklahoma on offense next year.

I saw it was bleacher report and almost didn't read, but I'm glad I did. I couldn't agree with the article more. I'm not saying showing Stoops the door is the only way to right the ship, but he needs to be made less comfortable. He has no incentive to change at this point, so why would he? Time to give him incentive.

So glad that college football is back. I look forward to the LSU and TCU game tonight. I have a thing for teams that wear purple. My division 3 alma mater wore purple.

Looking forward to New Years Day and hoping my Buckeyes can continue their magical run.

Outside of that game, I'm really interested in the Baylor-MSU game. I think that one is going to be a barn burner.

It's been interesting to me how many of the "supposed" people in the know have the game a basic tossup.

One group of 4 had it 3 for OSU, and another group of 4 had it 2 apiece.

I'm betting on Bama but I didn't have to give up the whole 9 pts either. HA

Through 5 games, my bet of taking all the SEC teams vs the line of whomever they're playing stands at 3-2, with two games today.

I've already marked the -3 to TCU vs Ole Miss down as a loss because I think the Frogs are gonna roll. I'm pulling for Miss St to win by 8 to cover in the late game. And I'm not confident with that one either.

Frankly, although I've won this steak bet for 3 straight years, I don't see 4 in the offing.
