I agree with you all on just having 4 teams. That was just a chicken way to get around mounting pressure by many to have a playoff. I really thought based upon common sense that they would go to an 8 team format which would have added just 1 extra week compared to what it is now. TCU is going to open up the flood gates on this topic after this game.

If not for some really bad luck Mississippi could have been the SEC champs.

Do you know the contract status of the 4 team format? I thought it was 4 teams through 2016 and then they can make adjustments, but I'm not 100% on that

But hey, the guys who are conducting the rules are the one's who voted on the rule to begin with. So they can decide anytime to change it and there's no accountability. Besides it would be a good thing.

The powers to be in all this - probably the NCAA/power conferences - are loving all the "conversation this is causing b/c the bottom-line is, it's all good for the pocket book of college football.

I know they lost 10-7 to LSU in Baton Rouge and I remember the game against Auburn where the WR was going in for the go ahead score and was grabbed by the jersey and bent his leg back and fumbled just before going into the end zone. Not sure what happened to them against Arkansas.
