I don't normally favor targeting rules, but this one was totally unnecessary.

Argued with a lot of homer ags this season about Winston winning. I was called every name in the book. This was after the Bama loss as well. I guess they thought ole JFF was invincible.

He does very little with so much. With all the resources and natural advantages that Texas has, they should be top 5 every year. Just like Alabama. Brown could've had the last 2 heisman trophy winners, but didn't even try to recruit them. Brown has only won the big 12 twice out of the 16 years he has been a coach in the conference. The guy underachieved for 4 years in a row..... He assigned Case McCoy backup QB as a favor to his father before the season began. McCoy has no business being at Texas. He has the worst stats I've seen for a division I QB. The list goes on and on....

You, I and we all know recruiting is a crapshoot. It's really really easy and convenient looking at hindsight. Do you know where Alabama was before Saban arrived? Schools, conferences, etc all go in cycles. Texas was about due for a lull. And the whole he did little with so much is the biggest BS excuse ever. He won 10 games for a decade that included a national championship. I mean heck do you remember where Texas was before Brown got there? Be careful what you wish for.

Championships or bust is not a realistic in any sport. Alabama has had an amazing run and there are a select few that are able to muster up what you call a championship dynasty but that is not reality. This is why Texas fans and alums are delusional.
