Ah, that makes more sense. Yes, being that a pro sports franchise is a commodity with such a limited availability, it is indeed a privilege to own one.

Although up until recently I am not sure that many people thought that the Clippers were a pro franchise or that associating with them in any way was a privilege.

Even without that, if they kicked the Clippers out of the league and started a new franchise called the LA Schooners (get it, Clippers...Schooners ), they'd probably be OK.
