Now personally, I wouldn't have banned the license plate with the word "ATHEIST", however they are probably just trying to get ahead of the game and not have first responders show up when this guy inevitably rubs people the wrong way and gets his ass kicked. In your face atheists are just as bad as over the top religious zealots.

I would give it to him, on the condition that he also have to have an "Insufferable Douche" bumper sticker.

Like I recommend for everyone with a IAMSAVED or some such vanity plate.
