OT: Bullshitting at the Barbershop part III

My father in law has moved in with the sister in law for a bit because they cannot say when his power will be restored. Seems the substation that feeds his neighborhood is underwater and 3 gators have moved in. The "low side" of his neighborhood (closer to the creek) still has about 2 feet of water and the gators frequently move up and down the streets looking for food.

Keep in mind he lives 110 miles from where Milton made landfall, 30+ miles inland and at an elevation of around 200 feet

Cool! They should make a movie about Sarah Emma Edmonds! She was a master of disguise.

She bravely served as a spy, field nurse, mail carrier and soldier. Her talent for disguise led to great success in her espionage assignments. Dressed as a female contraband, dry goods clerk or young Confederate boy, she successfully infiltrated Confederate lines 11 times.

Might be a pretty cool movie or series.

One disguise required her to use silver nitrate to dye her skin black, wear a black wig, and walk into the Confederacy disguised as a Black man by the name of Cuff.

Then again, maybe not.
