He wasn't just a typecast actor, either. He was also great in Galaxy Quest, Hitchhiker's Guide the the Galaxy, Dogma, Robin Hood, and the Harry Potter movies, to name just a few. I just loved his wry delivery.

I used to work with a company that outsourced a lot of the coding to India - Aside from the 16 hour time difference, the accents on some of those guys made it very tough to understand them in meetings. They were all very nice guys and worked hard, but we discovered that we weren't saving all that much money as a lot of code they delivered had to be re-written.

Dealing with service I have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to accents. If I can barely understand the "hello" portion of a call or an interaction I politely ask for someone else.

I managed a CS team and project managed with our Indian Development team out of Hyderabad. for my CS team we hired dialect coaches to help them with Western Clients. A lot of our code is still being used today by companies like MGM Casino etc...
