The Gymnastics was awesome too even though the American ladies BLEW THE FUCKING DOORS OFF everyone else.

I have enjoyed watching almost all the events.

I was surprised Serena got curb stomped so quickly.

But, that's what's great about watching the Olympics....the upsets.

Speaking of Serena, have you seen the U.S. female boxer Claressa Shields?

I wouldn't face either of these two in a arm wrestling contest..lol

Honestly, if they had a 7rh grader at point it might be better. Instead they have an ISO scorer.

they were up 23-5... too much sub'ing and too much iso ball. amazing they are giving up 90+ pts with the defenders on their team. 40 minute game.

Seriously though, the real answer is this:

Take a group of 15 young, fringe NBA players with well balanced skills. Pay them each $1 million a year and keep the core together on a year round national team. They could play exhibitions against NBA teams.

The trouble is that chemistry is lacking and the pieces don't fit. We have the 12 best individual players on the court, but the teams we are playing have much better chemistry. You don't need an allstar unit to win gold, just a cohesive group.
