The Phillies removed O'Sullivan from the 40 man roster and thus have outrighted him. Hector Neris gets called up for the pen. There are Rumors that Nola will get the big league call and pitch for the Phillies on Saturday. Any help would be welcome. The Phillies starters have an ERA over 7.16 in the last 44 games.
(Not counting Hamels.) But it would still be around 6.25 with his numbers. The Phillies streak continues:starting pitchers have won just twice in their last 44 games. It would be nice to get 7 innings out of a starter once in a while. Maybe Nola will get that chance!
