1- I really wanted Buxton in the offseason but Twins smart in extending him.
2- Frazier is a contact machine.

1. If the Twins had not extended Buxton, there would have been boards on Target Field and the Mariners would effectively have been playing a neutral site game.

JRods leadoff double was everything good about baseball. Frazier not settling for a single right after was the game winner. France is just Edgar all over again.

Frazier’s slide into 2nd base is what gives me life.

My apologies to Kelenic. This was as blatant of a balk as I have seen. Umpiring just sucks.

Damn, wish Root had a free app (if they do someone please tell me how to see it) but they didn’t make a big deal about it. They said it was a great pickoff move, but most announcers said the same thing about Andy Pettite and 3/4’s of his pickoffs were balks but the umps don’t care. You can’t blame Kelenic on that one….though with his ridiculous lead on that, an average pickoff move would have gotten him.

Lefties have a huge advantage on pickoff moves. They balk frequently and don't get called. Where's Joe West when you need him? Lol

Glad to see the M's come up with a couple clutch hits in the 9th with runners on. Was about pulling my hair out when Murphy struck out. Good things happen when you put the ball in play. Just don't strike out is all I ask.

Here's to win #3 tomorrow. If Gonzales and Flexen have solid years this rotation might be really good.

A few positives to take away from the 1st few games... Looks like we finally have a legit ACE again... Ray looked amazing for his 1st start as a Mariner... And Logan Gilbert looks to have improved with a new changeup added to his arsenal... Hopefully the JK and JR can get the bats going today...
