I get it, but it's a shame to not get Opening Day with everyone else, especially when the weather is perfect over here.

The M's have also been snowed out of opening day in Cleveland not too long ago. You know where there's never been a weather delay? Seattle.

Sure, but you can't give Seattle or warm weather teams 24 home games to start the season. You are going to have to play in poor weather in April because there are owners out there that don't want roofs on their ballparks.

No, but you certainly can schedule teams like Chicago x2, Cleveland, Minnesota, and Cincinnatti to play away from the places most likely to have inclement weather (snow and freezing temps) for Opening Day.

It's just a bummer to have the most exciting early season game postponed because you scheduled them to play in a place that has no plan B.

Seattle had a home opening day scheduled against Detroit that would have gone off a week ago. It's not the Twins fault that the owners and players couldn't get their shit together for 3 months and pushed that week of games back.
