DeGrom looked awesome. Lugo, Familia and Diaz all looked smooth as well, no panic. Let's hope they look that comfortable all season.

Facing Scherzer it's tough to judge the offense but nice to see Cano coming through early.

Alonso/McNeil absolutely killed it today. Lugo was gassed and almost let it slip away but Diaz did his job.

Damn...we won the opening series in DC, and just missed sweeping the Nats.
The Mets were trailing 5-2 after 7...and then tied it up in the 8th...only to lose it 6-5 in the bottom 9th. If Lugo hadn't thrown so many pitches in yesterday's game he might have been the one on the mound today in the 9th instead of Wilson.
That being said, I'll gladly take winning 2 of 3 against those gnats anytime.

Rough one today. Wheeler didn't have it going. Not terrible but not great. Was nice to see us comeback and tie it but not the ending we wanted.

We took 2 of 3 and beat Scherzer and Strasburg, I think all of us would take that.
