Probably difficult for TSN to match what FOX will be playing those guys - Still, it's a big loss for us Canadians who enjoy their antics on TSN.

I had mixed feelings about them. They had their moments where I thought they were really funny and others where I thought they were trying too hard to be funny and failing miserably in my opinion. In both cases it was mostly Onrait.

I'm not entirely clear on this, but it appears they were offered the postitions as a team. Fox wasn't interested in just 1 of them. It was going to be both or neither of them.

lol - I think julian was pretty accurate with his description, definitely at times I think they were trying too hard to be funny, but for the most part, I enjoyed their work on Sportscentre.

I see what you guys mean (how they can be funny but also overdo it, especially after being at it a few years or whatnot).

I think the same things happen(ed) with ESPN anchors here in the US over the years.

I've enjoyed the first few days of FS1...but probably because I'm desperate for a change of pace from ESPN. They have some legitimate talent there.

I saw that Regis has a show on Fox Sports. I just shook my head. A game show / gossip show host? Yep. They want to be a serious sports network. No doubt. I expect they will follow the hyperbolic screaming formula that has worked so well on their "News" channel. All I can hope is that they don't get the contract for any sport I care about. So far NBC has F1 and Hockey and are treating them well.

I found myself watching it yesterday for the Grand Am Race at Kansas. Every commercial with the guy trying to get into the booth with that guy and the other guy (Troy Aikman maybe?) for football broadcasts made me feel stabby.

jay and dan have set themselves up pretty good ... if it doesnt end up working out on fox they will probably come back to canada and get the same dollars from sportsnet
