Wow, I completely forgot about him!

Pretty forgettable, he only attempted 19 passes in his rookie year (his only career attempts) and was out of the league by 2003 after 2 years with the Rams, one with the Chiefs, and one with the Bengals.

That link proves there aren't many great years for QBs. At best, you get 1 or 2 great ones even in the so-called 'great' classes.

Exactly, even if you draft the next great QB, that doesn't mean he is going to succeed, a lot of it is just Luck, unless you actually drafted Andrew Luck!

I think the last decent QB we ever drafted was Jim Everett, and that was many many years ago.

How funny would it be if RG3 was our QB next year?

Bradford is cut, RGIII is cut..... Bradford starts in DC and gets hurt again when Robert Quinn smushes him and RGIII resurrects his career!!!

Annnnnnnnnnnnnd THEN I WOKE UP!!! Not gonna happen!!

The only unlikely thing there is Bradford starting in DC because IIRC he has a problem with the Redskins name

ok, here is a slight update on my mock draft. I did this on Fanspeak. Made three trades. Traded down from #12 to #18 in round 1 and got a 2nd and a 4th. Also traded from #12 to #19 in the 2nd and got a 4th and a 5th. Traded down from #12 to #18 in the 3rd and got a 6th. Not 100% realistic but pretty close..so here is how it came out:

1st - Jameis Winston QB Florida St
2nd- Jordan Jenkins OLB UGA
2nd- TJ Clemmings OT Pitt
3rd- Hroniss Grasu OC Oregon
4th- Senquez Golson CB Ole Miss
4th- Jeff Huerman TE Ohio St
5th- Breshad Perryman WR Central Florida
5th- Stephone Anthony LB Clemson
6th- Tyrus Thompson OT OU
7th- Michael Dyer RB Louisville

Now something interesting I spotted is that Todd Gurley has already dropped into the 4th round because of his knee injury. Question is does he still come out or does he stay in school to rehab. It would be an interesting opportunity to go after him if he was there say in the 4th round...

Clemmings is the #5 rated OT in the draft, right behind the 4 guys that are projected first rounders. Grassu and Reese Dismukes are the two best Centers in the draft. After watching Jamies though, I think getting one of the first round OT and then looking at Hundley or Petty in rounds 2 or 3 would better serve us.

I rather not touch Winston tbh. I also don't think he'll make it past pick number 7, let alone be there at 18
Gurely in the 4th is a complete steal tbh.

I agree, I do not think Winston makes it past the Jets wherever they pick. Like I said, I think Rams will be most improved if they snag one of the O lineman in the first, grab Hundley or Petty and go from there

There's four teams that are likely to be ahead of us in the draft that will probably need a quarterback: Tampa Bay, New York Jets, Tennessee and possibly Washington if they kick RG3 out the door. So would Hundley even be there when it comes our turn to pick in round 2?

Ain't been around in a while, semester is almost over so I'll be be back more.

I don't want Winston though. Too many questions. He's lucky he's not in prison, he been accused of the greatest crime in America (point shaving), and I honestly don't think he's that great. Way too many picks (21TDs 17 INTs this year), I don't have the stats on it but his accuracy down field hasn't impressed me.

The r*pe stuff isn't helpful, the connection to sports betting really scares me. On field play doesn't excite me either, don't really see the upside.

DGB in the 3rd and Gurley in the 4th would both be worth looks.

I don't see Hundley making it to mid 2nd. If there's a trade back I could see the Rams taking him late 1st.

You got a 2nd & a 4th rounder for moving down 6 spots? Now that's a generous league.

I'm sure a lot of your fan base won't like the Winston pick, but @ 18...I think that's a good move...You're in luck the OAK, JAX, TN are probably not taking a QB high, but with only 2 QBs having 1st rd grades, I think Winston is still going much higher....Bucs, Jets, are the most QB needy aside from STL...but can't rule out teams like NYG or WAS, HOU trading up.

Look for the the UGA kid (OLB) to move into the late 1st/early 2nd round if he runs well @ the combine....looks taller than 6'2" but needs to put on weight

DGB is projected in most mocks I see to not make it past #45 (that is the latest I see him picked.). One mock has DGB going #10 overall. He will NOT be there in the 3rd. In addition, if you do not want a head case like Winston, you sure as hell do not want DGB. Kid has a lot of growing to do yet.

Big difference between weed and 1 instance and consistent stupid behavior, not to mention DGB is a much better player.
