Exactly SJ, Cato is a stud BUT he has not faced a real defense. I am not opposed to Winston really, I just do not think we will draft high enough now to get him. Hundley is the clear #3 QB in this draft. I would love to get Beasley, the OLB from Clemson or McKinney from Miss St ( just because the dudes first name is BERNARDRICK), even Kendricks. I still stand by my prediction of Hundley as our 2nd pick (although it might take us moving back into round 1 to get him) but maybe not the WR with OUR 1st rounder..
As for me SJ, I had no computer at home so I was off the grid. But, I AM BACK BABY!!

Yeah, I brought up Cato last year as he could've declared last year if he decided to. He's a bit undersized, but the talent certainly appears to be there, if inconsistent. He would be a fall-back later in the draft though, as he's currently rated a UDFA by CBS.

With most "mobile" QBs falling short of their upside lately, I'm more inclined to go with a pocket passer like Cook or Petty (provided they don't finish high enough for Winston or Mariota).

I would LOVE Cook, but it looks like we would have to wait until 2016 for him since he said he will stay in school. Petty is either #4 or #5 rated QB depending on who you ask. I like him for different reasons than I like Hundley, but still like him. Those are really the only 2 QB's I would want out of this class unless Winston somehow falls to us (I know Mariota won't). By targeting Hundley or Petty, we can target other needs in the first round and maybe the second (O line and OLB)

For those of you that want to pick up Hoyer, no thank you! I see him as being the flavor of the year, a Matt Flynn, Kirk Cousins type. Davis has better numbers this year than Hoyer does. Hoyer's completion % is 56%, that's less than Bradford ever did, and he is playing behind a really good oline, Hoyer has been sacked 16 times compared to 29 for Davis. Hoyer's completion % would drop behind our oline just because he would be getting sacked and hurried way more! And actually Cleveland has some stud young WR's in Hawkins, Gabriel, and Benjamin, not to mention Gordan is back.

I'm fine with drafting Hundley, Definitely would stay away from Winston!

Connor Cook in the 1st round? HELL no.. He's not going to be much better than Kirk Cousins.

We can get a Cook type QB later in the draft. Sean Mannion has a similar skill set and similar speed to Cook. He will go 4th round? I don't see why all the hype on Cook at all.

If we can't get Winston, we go after Hundley or Petty. Petty has more speed than Cook and I would guess he is more accurate as well.

Clemson has some talent on that front 7. I remember the FSU game, Beasley was beastlike. That's the OLB we need. Him and Shaq Thompson are clones.

I was actually talking about #42 Stephone Anthony - ILB for Clemson. 6'2 245 and he can hit! He was all over the field versus FSU. Dude is rated in the middle of the pack too, probably will go 4-5 round!

Beasley is listed as a DE.

A big factor in here will be whether the Rams are keeping Fisher. Fisher probably means Bradford because an established guy isnt going to bring in a new QB unless one falls in his lap.

If Fisher is gone, then new regimes mean new QBs.

I'm not sure when you guys are picking or what you have to package. But if you're looking QB would you be able to make a move for marriota as much as I hate him. The kids the real deal. To be honest the rest of the QB class doesn't impress me. Winston is a head case and Hundley is going to be hit and miss. Marriota is on a whole other level

McNabb wasn't with Rivers and Big Ben, it was Eli.

McNabb was '99 along with Culpepper, Couch, Akili Smith, McNown, Shaun King, Brock Huard, Joe Germaine, Aaron Brooks

'04 was Eli, Rivers, Roethlisberger, along with Losman, Schaub, and a bunch of nobodies.

Brees was '01, with Vick, Quincy Carter, Tuiasosopo, Weinke, Jesse Palmer, AJ Feeley, Booty, Heupel

And that goes to show you that there are ALOT of bad to really bad QB's taken every year. That's the same as this year, a lot of the QB's that are highly touted will be busts in the NFL, you just never know, even the"can't miss" guys bust sometimes!

Yep, how we ended up with Joe Germaine is still a mystery to me.
