I am very encouraged by everyone's mock drafts. I think we all should hope that the Rams front office follows our lead. Also, I agree trading down in either round one or round two will hopefully happen to pick up an extra pick or two.

I traded back once with Minnesota and then with Cleveland and still ended up with Amari Cooper. He was way too good to pass up at 12.

I think drafting a center in round 2 is a very very good move. I'd consider the top OG if he's still on the board at that point or maybe if they want to consider a QB there but I rather them take an inside linemen

icefreeze, you nailed it. I really REALLY want Reese Dismukes, but if he is gone when we pick in round 2, I would be very happy with Cameron Erving, Hroniss Grassu or Andy Gallick

Crap, ALR how did I miss that? Cannot use a 1st on him. So that means it is either Scherff,Peat or Collins. We may not be able to trade down in round 1.

They could still trade down.

Especially if those 3 went before their pick.

Or, what is 2 are taken.

You want to take the 3rd rated OT at 10?

Still better off trading down unless something crazy happens.

Ogbuehi has an ACL injury.
That and NDs OT went back to school so no the super deep OT draft is a lot less so.

Trading down might be a good idea but not past 15

That is the exact spot I am thinking we end up and can still get TJ Clemmings (who is climbing up boards) or Collins or Peat.

Probably net a 3rd rounder. Maybe a 5th or 6th thrown in as well.

Depends on what is there that someone wants. If Winston falls to #10, you better believe we will get more than a 3rd and a 6th to move down. If one of the DE/OLB is there that someone covets (Gregory,Ray,Fowler) I bet we get more than that. I am betting if we moved from 10 to 15 we get a 1st next year, a 3rd and a 4th. I would bet that would be your haul for dropping down in the second round because there will invariably be a player that should have been a 1st that will drop to #8 in the 2nd round.
So I think we get a 1st in 2016 AND two picks in 2015 to drop in the first and I think we get 2 picks to drop in the 2nd.

Here's a more realistic draft.

I traded down twice in the first and netted an extra 2nd and 3rd.

Round 1 Pick 19 (CLE): Melvin Gordon, RB, Wisconsin (A-)
Round 2 Pick 9: Lorenzo Mauldin, OLB, Louisville (A-)
Round 2 Pick 17 (S.D.): Reese Dismukes, C, Auburn (A)
Round 3 Pick 8: Tre' Jackson, OG, Florida State (A-)
Round 3 Pick 13 (CLE): Bryce Petty, QB, Baylor (B)
Round 5 Pick 9: Austin Shepherd, OT, Alabama (B-)
Round 7 Pick 10: Antwan Goodley, WR, Baylor (A)

I know Gordon isn't a top need, but there was nobody worth taking at the need positions, so Gordon made sense to team with Mason for a great 1-2 punch.

I like yours ALR.... I also like Gordon alot but do you remember if Clemmings was gone at 19? He seems to be jumping up boards especially since Ogbuehi is injured now, which stinks because I liked him as well.

Yes, he was gone.

The only OT available was Stanley who isn't entering the draft.

That's why I went the direction I did.

That's not bad Cougar.

But the Rams can't wait until round 7 to take a QB.

Should've taken Petty in 3rd and grabbed a RB in the 5th or 7th.
