lol i am well aware everyone holds the tie breaker over the Caps. And that's why i need all your guys' teams to keep losing

:suds:

1 or 2 games in hand and holding the tie breaker on all three other teams makes me feel a little better. They have two must wins coming up tomorrow and Tuesday though. Two really hard games after that.

I hope it's Caps and Jackets that make it. Even though that will make Melrose say "See? I told ya five teams from the Metro would get in!".

I see a lot of Leafs fan blaming Phaneuf, but really, he is the only D man on that team that knows how to play any defense. The rest of them play like one way forwards

Duncan Keith is now a -4 tonight. Only time he was -5 in an NHL game: April 13, 2006 vs DET. (Rookie season)

Damn the Leafs give up alot of odd man rushes. More than Detroit's D.

That ain't good.

You could swap the wings Defensmen and the leafs defensemen and you wouldn't notice a difference

Man!! Reading the a Leafs board right now is pure gold.

A fortnight ago Kessel was on his way to the first of 5 straight Hart trophies to go with half a dozen Conn Smythes. Now he's a garbage, soft player. Phaneuf wen from being one of the league's best shutdown guy to a waste of skin. It goes on and on.

It's truly a testament to the Hoop that our small contingent of Leafs fans are rational people with IQs over 80.

I love that fan base! I was banned on HFBoards for saying Marc Staal was a better all around player than Luke Schenn :laugh3: which he is and it's not even close

We flirt with the edge occasionally, but we do come back to normal.

I have a lot to do in April anyway.

The Tabasco Kid has looked pretty good of late, besides it's time for the CBJ offense to win one for the team.

He's cut the number of bad goals a game from three to two. So he's 33% better.

Outside of that 3rd period, he looked good, to me at least. Not many backups with only give up 2 goals to the Penguins.

Stop complaining. Not only do you have Bob, but that kid Dansk looks like he's going to be good to. I mean it could be worse, the Isles are starting Anders "Swedish Cheese" Nilsson today against the Devils. Every time he plays Butch Goring says "He'd like to have that one back." At least once per game.

My concern is never the number of goals he gives up, it's where he gives them up from. The Jackets did an okay job funneling the play so the approach was below the dots and steep angle to the front. But they let two guys load up from the walls of the slot and they picked him apart. Like always.

And the Pens move the puck across the zone well. The Canes come straight down the middle. Not a good sign for him.

Dansk and Forsberg both are promising. And Bob will good for a while. We don't have any of those guys tonight. And this is a MUST win. We got a gift from the B's vs the Caps, but someone else in the mix is getting two points tonight. Maybe even two for one team and one for the other. The Jackets HAVE to win this one just to keep pace. Tie breakers only matter when you are tied.

And Tabasco makes the Jackets come further back than Bob does. The biggest strength the Jackets have this year is efficient zone exits. But when they start that 15-20 feet further back it's not as efficient. It's a big worry.

I just pray that it's not "other world" Khudobin starting again.
