Another great example of "game management" in the NHL last night - The ref easily could have blown the play dead before Kadri poked the puck home (I have seen numerous examples where an early whistle negates a goal).

Speaking of that rule, I haven't heard any player get called for a penalty on that this season and I'm sure that some have still had theirs tucked in

Ducks have finished their road schedule against the East already. In fact, they only have the following games outside of the Pacific time zone the rest of the season:

Especially when the ref had the whistle in his mouth ready to blow it before Kadri poked it in. And then said ref told Vigneault that the goal would only count if it was scored on the wraparound.

Rangers are always victim of the late/early whistle and the refs proved me right again in that game the other night. Whistle should have blown the play dead, but of course didn't, because it's us.
