I agree - he wasn't terrible with the Stars as a GM but he didn't really take them to the next level - he seemed like a placeholder for the next GM, in this case Jim Nill

I wish the Flames would have fired Feaster earlier and brought Jim Nill on board as GM - He's an Alberta boy after all (from Lanny McDonald's home town of Hanna, Alberta).

I do think the owners put Jay Feaster in a tough spot in terms of the Jarome Iginla trade because he probably could have done it earlier if there wasn't as much pressure from the ownership - could have gotten more in return for him

The real shame of it is with some better drafting and asset management, Iggy could likely still be a member of the Flames. That's not all on Feaster either, Darryl Sutter left the team in a big mess.

/Sutter is a good coach, but he's not a good GM.

Agreed on that, Flames were stuck in mediocrity too long before they finally took a nosedive - they went after too many physical guys and not enough skill

Can we talk about how horrible some of these stadium series jerseys are? Pittsburgh's is okay, but I think the Islanders, Ducks, and Kings are all horrible. On the other hand, Toronto, Detroit, and Ottawa's are all absolute works of God
