Marc Methot is out with the flu tonight so Cody Ceci has been recalled from Bingo and draws into the lineup tonight. Injuries, and suspensions, aside it's nice to see a local kid play his first NHL game for the team he grew up cheering for. This picture (Ceci is the kid beside Mike Fisher) sure makes me feel old though.

Ducks' rookie D-man Alex Grant is off to a nice little start to his NHL career. He scored his 2nd career goal in as many career games last night.

Dubinsky has always loved playing against the Devils. I'm interested to see who gets the boo's and who gets the warm welcomes. We all loved both Dubi and Artie for what they did here, me personally, more of an Artie fan, I hated seeing him leave.

That's it, the league needs to step in & take over the Islanders. Snow calls up Strome only to have him sit in the pressbox because they feel he needs more practice time before he plays with the NHL club. No other team in the league does this crap. When they call up a player they play him. The way this organization is run is an absolute joke.
