I can't believe the Flames managed to get a point tonight (and have a chance to get two).

The difference between the Oilers and the Coyotes is a Mike Smith. Get dominated again but yet they win.

Yeah, goaltending has been an issue with the Oil, but it is far from the only issue. Also, care to tell me who is the Oilers equivalent of Ekman-Larsson?

/OEL is having a Norris trophy start to this season.

I think the fact that Bryz has been a blubbering piece of crap since he left the coyotes proves its not the goalie (although I think Smith is better than Bryz) but the system that Tippett has put into place in Phoenix. Tippett is the difference

that being said Phoenix is 4th in the league in goals scored

:laugh3:

OEL, Yandle and one of the deepest D's in the league say hi!!

Centermen, hell even forwards, who collectively are 200 ft, 2-way players haven't been seen in Edmonton since 2006.

Solid leadership in Doan and continuity behind the bench with Tippett are not exactly trademarks of Oilers hockey these days either.

As sub-par as Dubnyk has been he isn't the only reason the Oilers have stunk this year.

I'd say there are a slew of differences between the two teams.

I didn't see it, but reports are that it was a) a bad elbow by Kadri but also b) a flop of Academy Award winning performances by Backstrom.

So what ever happened to the stupid tucked jersey rule? Parise has had his jersey tucked into his hockey pants all night and no penalty has been called.
