Well that was a big bag of shit.

Caps played the better game, Coyotes win in the SO. I hate hockey sometimes.

Grabovski the goat tonight - stupid penalty in the last 5 minutes and doesn't even get a shot off in his SO attempt.

They played well and have been hot.

?

Some nights it doesn't bounce your way.

This happens to them all the time in important games - they always find stupid ways to lose games

In related Caps news, Mathieu Perreault has 5 goals and 9 assists and is a +10.

We couldn't keep him because he makes a whopping $1,050,000. Nice move, George McPhucknuts. Let's definitely move the guy that trailed only Ovechkin on the Caps in points per minute played over the last couple seasons.

We gave up this...

This was an important game?

They've found ways to choke or not show up in the playoffs. They played well tonight on a cross-country road game - good puck possession, solid defense. Couple of bad breaks.

Same m.o for the Coyotes. Get behind, find a way to score fluky goals to tie the game and steal it in shootout. No team skates by with mediocrity better than Phoenix

Not really an important game, particularly since they play in a piss poor (to date anyway) division. The Caps got a point on the road against a team with a good record. Meh.

Shitty way to lose but hardly a big deal.

Pretty dirty hit by Letang, in my opinion (went low and at Oshie's knees).
