Ryan Garbut just came flying out of the box and jumped right into Penner's head - Penner definitely has a concussion from that one.

None of the zebras saw it, but I'm pretty sure that will be a suspension.

The Jackets' broadcast keeps zeroing on Torts. The announcers keep laughing at him and calling him "Mount Tortorella".

When the second delay of game penalty happened, they were openly mocking him. I love it. I can't imagine what he would have done if their goal had been waved off as it should have been.

Yeah, he was real mad the other day when they called too many men on the ice and then Kunitz tied it 48 seconds later.

Yup, Gaborik with some early payback on Torts.

I didn't watch the game, but I wish Gaborik would have somehow taunted Torts after the goal lol would have been great.

Yeah, wan't a big fan of how Gaborik was sent out of the Rangers. He led the team in goals & points the previous season and the next thing you know he's ousted, mainly because of Torts. Was happy for Gaborik, he deserved to score on and beat Torts team for how he was treated last season.

Worst was how he scapegoated Gaborik for nearly everything that went wrong. I guess the Rangers got a couple good pieces in exchange for Gaborik, but that trade went down for all the wrong reasons.

Ohh believe me I agree. Don't get me wrong, business wise it was a great trade, were able to sign key RFA's and got two very nice young pieces in Moore(who will be a stud) and Brassard. Dorsett I was a huge fan of but he hasn't been the same here and takes too many careless penalties. But moving Gaborik because of Torts was stupid.

Refs didn't even call a penalty on the Garbut hit on Penner.

That was a dirty hit - charging, lead high, head contact.

But I think the announcers are wrong on "leaving his feet." There is a difference in jumping into a guy and having you momentum carry you off of them, which is I think what happened here.

TV crews seem to get that wrong all the time.

I do agree about the feet - I don't think he left his feet, yet it was still malicious - he went out of his way to hit him - he skated from one side of the ice to the other to hit him

Garbutt is just another no-talent clown - An incredible 6 goals scored in 64 NHL games played. Should be a minimum 5 games for charging across the ice for a head shot.
