Legit question, do the NHL schedulers eat paint chips??

Every time the WIld make the playoffs no matter who they play or whether they are home they get stuck at like 8:30 central time(even when we played fellow central team St. Louis years back).

And while it sucks we are the ones always screwed, I at least get it. Stagger games.

These dumb mother fuckers got games tonight starting at 6:30 and 7 central time. Why the shit cant you do 5:30 and 7:30 or some shit?????

NBA(as much as the league sucks has brains) moved Denver v Portland to 7 central to avoid this issue tonight.

I have been putting a lot of thought into this, a problem this great sport we follow has. The problem is we all love OT hockey, and we all love the shootout. If we have one, we are disappointed that we do not have the other. While drunk the other night I had a great idea. Why not both? How about if during every playoff OT game - every two minutes (alternating turns) a team gets a shootout attempt. The action on the ice does not stop, the shootout attempt happens while everything else is going on. The shooter is also fair game so if the team not shooting wants to send a player to defend the shootout attempter so be it. Still working on some logistics but the idea is so good I wouldnt be surprised if the NHL rushes it in for next season.

Just imagine - in OT team A has possession of the puck and is close to scoring. Team B is exhausted and needs a change. But at 16:00 team B gets a shootout attempt! What does team A do? Keep the pressure on and hope to score? Ease off and have someone go back and take care of the shoot out shooter? The drama, the decisions! Plus how amazing would it be if both teams scored and they had to go to video review to see which puck was in the net first?

The thing is Bieksa actually is a pretty funny guy and I think he's quite clever as well. There's very few redeeming qualities about Kesler so this project is doomed from the beginning.
