I often wondered who would be the first to bang one of these in the nhl

Well, I'm sure Grapes will address this on Saturday night.

/Of course he had to score the GWG as well, nice game Andrei

Canes had one of their better storm surges after last nights game too. Sometimes the material just writes itself.

Vigneault Says Some Players Aren't What He Expected And Team Is Being Evaluated.

“Some guys we may have thought previously were capable of doing things, whether it be moving the puck [or something else]. … and when you see them live, they may not be exactly what you anticipated,” he said. “We have decisions to make. Chuck [Fletcher, the general manager] and I are talking constantly about our group and that’s what we’ll continue to do until we’re happy.”

Come home, Jakey.

I'm not saying it's going to happen, but if the Flames don't snap out of their current doldrums, it wouldn't shock me if the Flames and Flyers swing a blockbuster trade including Johnny Hockey.

We'll take Moneyhands.

It seems inconceivable that Calgary would consider moving Johnny Hockey.

This team just hasn't looked right since last year's All-Star break. I think BT heard the whispers of Dougie Hamilton not fitting into the dressing room and he may a great trade with Carolina getting Elias Lindholm back so he's not gun shy when it comes to moving big names.

I have read a lot of talk that Voracek and Ghosttitsbeer are the two pieces that they want gone (fans that is), and they are worried about Jake's contract. Saying the Flyers will have to take on a bad contract to move him.

If it winds up being Johnny and Looch for Jake and Ghostbear, I am gonna be fucking pissed.

You know, blowing countless leads throughout the year, blowing 3 leads tonight, Hall's mindless drop pass turnover leading directly to Tampa's 5th goal. But at least you were 1-3 on the power play.

I see that gritty Wayne Simmonds quadrupled his point total tonight too.

I don't mean for that to sound like I'm making fun, Wayne's a good guy and I hope he does well and is happy. But I never understood what the media liked so much about that signing, talking like he was an absolute steal at $5 million.

So Hall's bolting as a UFA for sure, then

he's a grit guy for sure, but I recall seeing in the summer that his fancy stats were gawd awful.

He was probably a somewhat underrated player in his prime but it seems like a lot of people/media (are they people too? I need to see some test results  ) overcompensated by overrating him once he was past it.

Full quote is even worse. He mentions 1-3 on the power play a second time, like that's some outrageously great stat. Also, if a 2/3 capacity arena and no media pressure is too much for him to handle what would he do in a big market?

For me and @DragonfromTO 's dad, that all we need to hear

I wasn't even thinking this but can I use "gritty" without the "tm" anymore? Am I gonna get a "cease and desist" notice from the Flyers or worse (better?), a commando-style visit from Grimace's orange cousin himself?

Yeah, keep making it more urgent on Shero to move you.

Milano, Harrington and Korpisalo for Hall and Blackwood. DO IT
