To be fair to Karlsson, he only looks average when he's faced with the wrath of a god.Only until Ottawa trades him dash. Then TSN/Sportsnet/CBC will ponder "how Ottawa could let the greatest D man of all time go?!?!?!"
Pretty much the only joy I've gotten from this whole debacle is the about face that Leafs fans (not those on here) and the media (same thing in Canada) have done about Karlsson's abilities. For nearly a decade he's been TERRIBLE defensively and "not the kind of guy you win with". For 3 weeks leading up to the deadline all I heard was that he was now a generational player and how could they ever trade him.
And then since the deadline it's been pretty much:

Who's got him beat? This guy?WOW. The Gods have really let themselves go when they can't even be the best in their draft class anymore.

I chuckle at your blasphemy.
holy jumpin'
Jets lay 5 on the Hawks in the first period
At least they didn't blow it tonight against the Habs!No shit
Grabner has essentially been invisible.
He's starting to terrify me:
Having Maroon makes up for it a little, but it does seem like Grabner was benefiting from something on the Rangers that was giving him the chances he had to score 25-30 goals a year. He certainly didn't have that on the Leafs.Grabner has essentially been invisible.
