Catchin' the Sharks on back-to-back nights missing Pavelski and Karlsson (Erik) - Different team without those two guys in the lineup.

I bet that few are freaking out about a few losses with a couple of important players missing and a run of bad goaltending. I mean, it's not Toronto

I watched the Sharks last game on their local broadcast. The commentators were wishing the team had picked up Komarov and/or Martin at the deadline

"We showed them who the Stanley Cup champions are"

- Ovechkin in post-game interview vs. Tampa.
That blip in the radar won't last for much longer, after Syd has his way with OV once again this year.

Book it!

Good job Red Wings. Come on Kings, you're do for a nice winning streak.

Flames will be resting guys with the Pacific Division and #1 in the West clinched, I'd take Tkachuk out of the lineup tonight as no sense to risk injury to one of their key players.

He didn't say book it...

But coach Bruce Boudreau is convinced he knows the Wild’s fate. And that’s playing beyond the regular season.

“We’re going to make the playoffs,” he declared Thursday after the team’s practice at TRIA Rink in St. Paul. “That’s about as elaborate as I want to get. You want me to predict how many wins we’re going to have in the last month and a half? No. But we’re going to make the playoffs.”

Wild coach Bruce Boudreau guarantees a playoff berth

Tampa Bay is also missing Hedman who is day-to-day with an upper body injury and the fear is it might be a concussion.

He should take the first round off. If it's us that play them.

If not, he should play 35 minutes a night.

Geez, where did the last 30 years go?

No kidding. Flames did win the Northwest Division back in 2006, but then exited in the first round of the playoffs.

/They didn't get a chance to follow up the run in 2004 thanks to the lockout.

Speaking of 30 years ago, the Oilers will become the 3rd time in NHL history to have 2 100 point+ players who go on to miss the playoffs. You have to go back to the 80's to find the other two teams (and one of them no longer exists).

Still a better looking defense than the Oilers have had this year:

Kudos to Brad Treliving for recognizing Fox wasn't going to sign in Calgary and throwing him in the deal to land Lindholm and Hanifin.
